Leonora began her career as a recruitment consultant, helping creative professionals find their perfect roles within the design world. This gave her the opportunity to combine her passion for helping people carve a path to their dream career and her love of all things creative.

Since then, she has enjoyed a diverse career that has seen her combine her creativity with her business acumen. After her role as a recruitment consultant, she went on to work in the costume departments of various film & TV studios and later founded Lin & Leo Ltd, a brand of luxury leather handbags. As co-director of the company, she was involved in every aspect of the business. Her hard work paid off and the brand was a huge success, with Lin & Leo’s products being sold in big-name stores such as John Lewis, Jojo Maman Bebe and Blooming Marvellous in the UK as well as in various outlets overseas. She co-managed the sale, share negotiations and handover of the business in 2013 to new owners.

After the sale of the business she joined the Event Academy in the role of Placement Manager. Since then, she’s established strong working relationships with a large number of clients across various sectors of the industry. It’s these relationships that give The Event Talent Agency the ability to bring our candidates some of the most exciting opportunities on the market.

Leonora is excited to return to her recruitment roots as our Recruitment Manager, a position that sits perfectly alongside her role with the Event Academy.

In her spare time, Leonora puts her passion for arts & crafts to good use and works on the committee responsible for running the annual Artists & Makers Fair, a contemporary arts and crafts event held in East Sussex. She also has a passion for travelling, dress-making, gardening and loves spending time with her young sons.
